A new "assist suit" has been announced, with a total of 35,000 units sold. Innophys, a startup from Tokyo University of Science, has announced a new product designed to reduce strain on the waist and arms when carrying heavy loads. Reporter Natsume: "I tried lifting a 10kg load. It felt like I was lifting it with little effort." The suit features elastic stretching from the back of the knees to the arms, supporting both the waist and arms. Innophys President Otokawa says that in fields where the suit is used, "people are avoiding 'hard' or 'heavy' work, making it difficult to secure personnel."
