There is always things to be grateful for. We are thannkful that we ride on many crushed asphalt of North Sumatera province today, especially we didn't take the main route of Trans Sumatera. Yes, we are still exploring the west coastal route of the Sumatera island to get into Aceh province. And what makes us grateful was that we can enjoy Aceh's asphalt. Imagine this, coming from a rough asphalt to a smooth asphalt, so fun :). Today's fun was added with the stop at province border checkpoint. From so many checkpoint we met along our route from Jakarta, only at this checkpoint we got pulled over. However, the officers and services was friendly and professionally delivered. Yes, friendly is the common impression I got from the people of Aceh, since the moment we entered Aceh, to the day we leave it. My appreciation and respect for the people of Aceh. this will be my first time ever riding in Aceh. I'm loving it and so grateful. today marks my first day of eating Aceh's noodle, a local culinary. I didn't regret it, my mouth tasted high standard of this noodle as my first experience. until the video published, i never found similar standard elsewhere. This time we are exploring Sumatera's asphalt for about 3000KM from Jakarta to the Westernmost Point of Indonesia; KM 0 in Sabang. We are riding our most loved bikes, Affancik with his Royal Enfield Himalaya, and me with my Ducati Diavel Carbon. In this trip, we got company from a friend of mine, Bro Haji Ivan from Pandeglang, and he ride his Ducati Multistrada. Our Jakarta - Sabang route had a lot of story to tell, mainly are happy story; smooth road along the route (except when we're in North Sumatera Province), beautiful view of the beaches up to the varieties of food we had along the way. Indonesia is totally beautiful!. For you guys who love to ride and never pay a visit to Aceh, this is highly recommended, Aceh had a stunning view while you enjoy terrific asphalt/infrastructure there, a very supporting component to its magnificent tourism spot. You should really try it yourself.
