Cap Martinique 2026 | J1 à bord du JPK 1050 PERSAIVERT de JP Kelbert

We're sharing JP's adventures on the Cap Martinique with you by email. He left Trinité-sur-Mer yesterday at 5:00 PM, heading for Fort-de-France. Day 1, 8:39 AM Hello everyone, Everything's fine on board, even though I'm having a few hiccups… My battery isn't working, and most importantly, all my displays are black outside! That's a real pain. Otherwise, we had a good hard night with Alex under Code 0 up to 28/30 knots, then some intense wind shifts, but the sail is intact and on board! The last three hours before passing BXA, we were windward-leeward, finishing with the genoa, and I managed to get some sleep. At BXA, I hoisted my smallest spinnaker because they're forecasting strong winds, but for now, I'm struggling, underpowered, and the Pogo RC has overtaken me. Frustrating! I sent Quentin a message, but I have serious doubts about the displays outside. It's a real pain because it's happened before and they couldn't find anything. I understand it malfunctions when there's a lot of water on deck... but it happens often! Otherwise, everything's fine... — JP aboard PERSAIVERT
