Helfštýn Castle hosted the legendary Military History Festival, and man, it was crazy good! From Roman legionaries to American Civil War medics, this event is a massive journey through time that every history enthusiast needs to experience. In this video, I’m taking you straight into the heart of the action. We’ll explore the grim tools of an executioner’s workshop (including a fully working guillotine!), witness the precise and elegant fencing of Morias, and see some of the rarest medieval weapons with Fratres in Armis. But the highlight? Sharing the stage with Adorea Swordfighters, one of the absolute top groups in Europe. Whether it was the raw, chaotic energy of our late medieval plate armor fights or the disciplined volleys of Swedish musketeers, Helfštýn 2026 was a dream come true.
