Kate meets Alice Jamieson, Director of the North Yell Development Council and a local health visitor, who returned home after a career in the Royal Navy to raise her family. Kate also visits the Shetland Gallery, where owner Shona Skinner showcases work by Shetland-based artists and others inspired by the islands' unique light, landscapes and seascapes. She meets internationally renowned artist Peter Davis, who moved to Shetland more than 30 years ago and continues to draw inspiration from the power of the sea. The film explores how North Yell's entrepreneurial spirit is supported by the North Yell Development Council, whose community-owned wind farm generates income that is reinvested locally.
