LA ARTILLERÍA ARGENTINA EN MALVINAS

At the edge of the South Atlantic, Argentine artillery held the pulse of the fighting in the Falklands. This documentary explores, with rigor and heroic moments, the role of the GA 3 and GA Aerot 4, the OTO Melara 105 mm (range 10,200 m), the CITEFA 155 mm (20 km), the OAV on Mount Harriet, and the work of the RASIT and CARDION radars. From the opening of fire (April 27/28, Port Harriet) until the night of June 13/14—with direct fire on Moody Brook—passing through Goose Green, Longdon, Harriet, Dos Hermanas, and Tumbledown. Also covered are the Air Defense (GADA 601 and GADA 101), their continuous surveillance and the use of radars—including the AN/TPS-44—nighttime gunfire support, and the moral and tactical impact. Figures and memory: 17,000 shells; 10.9% (out of 626) casualties in the field and 7.3% (out of 574) in air defense; 11 Medals of Valor, 13 Fallen, 1 Wounded, 56 commendations. Honoring the names that left their mark. This content is based on documentation provided to the channel and is presented in a spirit of history and homage.
