Jon Lehrer Playing the Riverside Church Carillon

Have you ever seen a carillon being played? Here is Jon playing a piece by Francisco Tarrega, originally for guitar. You can hear a fair bit of ambient noise created in the process of playing, but the music comes through remarkably well, and the video quality of this Samsung Galaxy III is impressive. There are some other videos of Jon playing on YouTube. It was thrilling to be there as he played. The great irony of this wonderful instrument is that it is difficult to hear it from down on the ground. It's quite audible up in the tower, however.
