Serenade of the planets

Serenade of the Planets The planet drifts, the force the same, It journeys far from solar flame. The stars align, a grand parade, The planets circle, rings are made. The light fades out, the cold takes hold, Confusion stirs within the soul. And then the Moon begins to rise, Its silver glow dims earthly skies. The world asleep, but I still wake, To catch the sound the planets make. Through icy winds, the call is clear, Of cosmic love that draws me near. You dream alone in lunar beams, Unmoved by planetary schemes. The wires hum, the signals fall, Yet still I try to make the call. So much to say, so much to show, That star whose fire I’ve come to know. For years it shines, it lights my way, Its flame burns bright in my own bay. The world asleep, but I still wake, To catch the sound the planets make. Through icy winds, the call is clear, Of cosmic love that draws me near. My love, my passion, through the skies, Across the Milky Way it flies. Though darkness reigns, my heart still beats, You are the light my fate completes. A star ignites within my fate, It guides me on, illuminates. This path of love, of light, of grace, It leads me to God’s embrace. The world asleep, but I still wake, To catch the sound the planets make. Through icy winds, the call is clear, Of cosmic love that draws me near. Though planets march in zenith high, Though window lights may fade and die, The force remains, the day will come, The sun will rise, the world be one!
