3 Riding Exercises for a green horse - 3 basic turns that engage the whole body
there are really three basic terms that you should work on with a green horse. Each one of these turns focuses mainly on one body part of the horse for example a turn on the haunches, is actually turning the forehand around the hindquarters. and then making a simple change of direction using outside leg focusing on button number 2 which is at the girth area in a western saddle. is it good way to move the entire horse. You should also add backing and flexing the head in the neck to these exercises. you will find out where you need to put more work into 2 how well they go through this exercise.
