It's incredible to listen to how the solo develops, never rushing to prove a point too fast but when it does it is breathtaking. To me David Gilmour practically invented the art of the huge soaring guitar solo. I mean listen to that tone! In the early seventies to boot!! Technically there isn't a lot of fast fretwork, but instead we have a TON of bends that require special attention to keep in tune. David Gilmour literally adds bends to his bends throughout the entire solo. In this Time guitar solo lesson I will take you note-for-note through this masterpiece and show you how to attack each difficulty one by one. With all of those bends the Time guitar solo is great to play a few times each day simply to keep your calluses up! Besides the bending difficulties I hope you use this solo to inspire you to create your own musical statements during your solos. You simply can't have a better model than this one. :) Carl..
