This is a tribute to Smash, our favorite television show. Smash is about the making of Marilyn (Monroe) the musical titled Bombshell. The contenders for the role of Marilyn Monroe are played by Broadway's Megan Hilty as Ivy and American Idol's first runner-up Katherine McPhee as Karen. In season two Ivy's mother, a broadway legend is cast as Gladys, Marilyn Monroe's mother. She performs Hang The Moon with Marilyn. June 8, 2015 , Smash regulars Hilty, Mcphee, Christian Borle, Brian d' Arcy James, Will Chase, Jeremy Jordan and Leslie Odom Jr. amongst others performed in Bombshell in Concert.......shortly after an announcement was made that Bombshell The Musical is possibly going to be staged for Broadway.
