Orie Kieda - “Empathy”

I was in a really bad place when I wrote this. I had felt not too long ago that things were getting better, but then they very quickly got worse. I’ve been putting off writing music for a long time because I hate writing sad songs, but it seems like that’s just how it’s going to be for the time being, unless I do some soul searching and find something else worth sharing. Or, alternatively, I could have a miracle happen that specifically fixed my situation, but I’ve been waiting on that for quite a while. The sad part is, and you may be aware of this, but… miracles aren’t even uncommon, it’s just this specific need that’s not being met for me. Anyway, I’m done complaining. Sorry for the sad song. Again. I will definitely try to get better, but no guarantees. Stay safe. I’ll plan to post more soon. Take care.❤️
