【ヤクルト】つば九郎、活動再開に先駆けて激励会に登場　クルーユニホームと燕パワーユニホームの紹介コーナーで長岡とグータッチ披露

A pep rally for the Yakult Swallows (sponsored by Fuji Television, Nippon Broadcasting System, Sankei Shimbun, and BS Fuji) was held on the 16th at the Meiji Memorial Hall in Minato Ward, Tokyo, with approximately 650 people in attendance, including the Swallows' manager, coaches, players, Yakult headquarters, and Fuji Sankei Group representatives. The team mascot, Tsubakuro, also made an appearance ahead of his return to activity on March 31st. He joined players Koga, Yoshimura, Okugawa, and Nagaoka, along with Tsubami, to introduce this season's crew uniforms and Swallow Power uniforms, creating a lively atmosphere. Tsubakuro's activities were suspended last season after the sudden death of a staff member who had been in charge of him for many years in February of last year. At the send-off ceremony held after the exhibition game against the Orix Buffaloes on March 15th (Jingu Stadium), Tsubakuro was shown on the large screen gazing at the field through the mesh of a door in the first base side corridor, a spot known among fans as "Torigoya" (birdhouse). He will resume his activities from the home opener against the Hiroshima Carp on March 31st (Jingu Stadium).
