The man had previously been arrested in June on similar charges and received a summary order from the Kawagoe Summary Court to pay a 500,000 yen fine. The man arrested on suspicion of obstructing business by force is Yuta Shinishi, a 43-year-old unemployed resident of Moro-Hongo, Moroyama-machi. According to the police, on June 28th, Shinishi filmed himself touching the spout of a soy sauce bottle at a Hama Sushi restaurant in Chiba Prefecture. He is suspected of obstructing business by posting the video on social media, causing the operating company to receive complaints. During questioning, suspect Shinishi stated that he "wanted to increase the number of views on the video," but partially denied the charges, saying he "didn't know if his finger touched the bottle." In May of this year, Shinishi filmed a video of himself pouring a liquid resembling dish soap onto sushi he ordered at a store in the prefecture. He was arrested in June on suspicion of obstructing business by posting the video on social media and causing the operating company to handle complaints.
