The magnificent and eerie Castle Saunderson in County Cavan, Ireland.The once great mansion now stands as reminder of our great past.It was destroyed by a fire in 1977. Thankfully the Cavan authorities have acquired Saunderson and there were plans in place to restore the mansion to its former glory. The plans have been halted due to funding issues and so Castle Saunderson stands silent…. I did not go inside the mansion as it is unsafe
