(B.R) 9F Superpower Compilation !

A video compilation of three preserved B.R Standard Class 9 locomotives showcasing some of their raw power across seven preserved railways. Due to the size and power output of these locos, plus a blanket 25mph speed limit and light loads you could could consider them too big for many of our preserved railways, but in reality our heritage lines are the only place to see these big beasts in operation. So in the last eight years, I've amassed a decent collection of shots of these three locos. So for this video I've whittled down my collection of 9F scenes to produce a video, where all three locos are showcased under decent power and even in a few rare cases, under full power ! There will be the odd scene in the video where they're just ambling along, but generally this compilation is focused on the better scenes. Like I said above, seven preserved railways feature and big thanks to all of those railway's, which without them, this video wouldn't be possible. You'll notice that the North Yorkshire Moors Railway features heavily. Quite simply its the only place in the UK to see and hear a 9F working well due to their notorious 1/49 gradient and decent trailing load. In 2023 the railway hosted two 9F's which were double headed across their 2023 gala and provided some memorable scenes, though nothing topped resident loco 92134 on that Saturday evening run. Also, a big shout out to the Great Central Railway and their double mainline track, along with their 35mph TPO demonstration this provides us with a flashback to the good old days !
