Yvonne Chaka Chaka - Freedom - Original Copy - High Quality (HQ) SD

This was filmed late 1988. The 'Freedom' message would not be broadcast by the SABC as it was deemed subversive, (these were toward end of apartheid days) so we obscured political freedom with domestic freedom and the SABC happily played the video! The opening 'narrative' shot of Yvonne in a maids uniforn scrubbing the floor tells the story. The actor, Duke, who plays her abusive boyfriend/husband, had a real bad time for months after the video was flighted. He would be attacked in public by irate Yvonne fans for being so cruel to her!
