I Lost the Bet… So I Did 500 Burpees in 50 Minutes

Two years ago, I made a bet that England would beat the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-final in extra time. Then, in the 90th minute, Ollie Watkins popped up with the winner. I lost the bet. My forfeit? 500 burpees. At the time, I had a dislocated shoulder. Recovery took much longer than I expected, and it still isn’t 100%. Even so, I promised I’d complete the challenge before the end of the 2026 World Cup. A few hours before the World Cup final, I finally got it done—500 burpees in 50 minutes. Safe to say, I’m never making a bet like that again. But if you make a bet, you’ve got to do the forfeit, no matter how hard it is.
