¿Por qué sacaron a familias mexicanas para construir el estadio de los Dodgers?

Why were Mexican families evicted to build Dodger Stadium? Chavez Ravine was a Mexican-American neighborhood in Los Angeles comprised of communities like Palo Verde, La Loma, and Bishop. Working-class families lived there, having built their homes, streets, churches, and entire lives in the city's hills. In the early 1950s, authorities used the promise of a public housing project to evict many of these families from their homes. But those homes never materialized. Years later, on that same land, construction began on Dodger Stadium, one of the most famous stadiums in the United States. In this documentary, we explore the hidden history of Chavez Ravine: how a Mexican neighborhood was erased from the map, how hundreds of families were displaced, and how a symbol of Los Angeles was born from a memory that many preferred to forget.
