THE KILLER CROCODILES OF LAKE VICTORIA
The fisher-folk of East Africa's largest fresh water lake, Lake Victoria are now becoming prey in the same waters they draw fish from. Crocodile attacks have increasingly made fishing a life threatening activity. More than 15 people have been killed by crocodiles in Lake Victoria since 2013. It is believed that the human-wildlife conflict is caused by increased activity in Lake Victoria which includes overfishing and sand harvesting. Africa Uncensored's Dennis Mbae was in the lakeside city of Kisumu in Western Kenya, to count the human and environmental cost on the shores of this Lake.
