Today we’re showing you a good fit, a bad fit, and a WORSE fit—and one of these might surprise you Is your saddle a good fit… or are you trying to make it work? At Saddle Up, we’re breaking it down with real, hands-on examples using one of our horses: ✔️ A GOOD saddle fit ⚠️ A BAD (but common) fit ❌ A WORSE fit that can cause real problems We also talk about something a lot of riders wonder about—can a pad fix saddle fit? In this video, we show how certain pads (like an impact gel pad) can sometimes help improve an “okay” or borderline fit and make it work better for the horse. BUT we also explain why pads are not a cure-all and won’t fix every bad saddle. The goal is to help you understand the difference, recognize what your horse needs, and avoid relying on quick fixes when a different saddle may be the better solution. Because your horse’s comfort isn’t something to guess on. 📍 Filmed at Saddle Up 📩 Need help with saddle fitting? We’re happy to help!
