Drone show returns to Vivid Sydney 2026

Thousands of drones lit up the sky in a choreographed performance of light and sound at this year's Vivid Sydney festival. Titled Star-Bound, the drone show runs every Sunday to Wednesday at 7.30pm and 9.30pm above Darling Harbour during the festival. The opening night's first show was canned due to a technical malfunction, reportedly caused by rainy weather.
