Above: God Finishes What He Starts | Philippians 1:1-6 | Pastor Paul Jorgensen | Sermon Only
Life doesn’t give us what we want. The circumstances of our lives can make us anxious, steal our joy, and even shake our faith. The Book of Philippians in the New Testament focuses on joy and faith as much or more than any other book in the Bible. Yet it was written by the Apostle Paul in the worst of circumstances: in a Roman dungeon. If the truths Paul described in Philippians helped him find joy and build faith in his situation, they can certainly help us find joy and build faith in ours. This week we’ll be looking at how we can live above our circumstances because, among other things, God finishes what he starts.
