Lower Shotover House: A Home Rooted in the Mountain Landscape

A residence designed to blend into the Central Otago mountain landscape. Rooted in local vernacular architectural traditions, the house utilizes schist stone, a gabled roof, and a ground-based placement to create a warm, calming shelter that is resilient to climate extremes.
