Experience intensive care at the DHZC up close: We accompanied our intensive care nurse Guido and his colleague Richard on camera during a late shift in Ward 1 of our cardiac surgery intensive care unit. We also talked about the demands of the job – and the standards they set for themselves. We sincerely thank Guido and Richard for participating! New employees in our intensive care units undergo at least eight weeks of training. This thorough and intensive training is particularly important to us so that we can always provide our intensive care patients with the best possible care according to their needs.
