How To Play Canasta
SCORING SUMMARY: Each card in a meld with rank 3-9 is worth 5 points. Ranks 10-K are worth 10 points. As are worth 20 points. 2s and Jokers are worth whatever card they stand in for. If left unplayed, they cost 50 points. Each complete Canasta is worth 300 points. If there are no Wilds in the canasta, it is worth 500. Each red 3 is worth 100 points. The team that went out receives 100 points for doing so. Subtract the point value of each card left in a player’s hand.
