You will learn how to submit your return late, pay penalties (if required), and get your name added to the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Step 1 Go to the FBR IRIS website. Click on “New Registration”. Fill in all required details. (1. CNIC, 2. Address, 3. Email and Mobile No, 4. Set Password and Pin, 5. Verify Details) Step 2 Log in to IRIS using your CNIC (as User ID) and password. Click on the “Declaration” tab, and select “Normal Return” from the list. Step 3 Choose the tax year 2025 (which covers income from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025). Step 4 Enter your income details in the appropriate section. Step 5 Click on “Computation” and check if any tax is payable or adjustable. Step 6 Now go to “Wealth Statement”. In the "Reconciliation of Net Assets" section, enter your total income again. Then add your assets and liabilities. Make sure the Unreconciled amount is "Zero". Step 7 Recheck all your entered data in the “Data” tab. Step 8 Click on “Verification”, enter your PIN, save the data and then Submit the return. Step 9 After submitting your tax return for 2025. Step 10 Generate ATL challan and pay it. Now you can check your status after 2/3 hours after you submit the return and paying the challan.
