The Achirana del Inca is a long irrigation canal that supplies water to the southeastern part of the Ica Valley in Peru, a desert region on the Pacific coast. According to legend, it was built by Pachacuti, the greatest conqueror of the Inca Empire. On this journey, we explored the section that passes through the districts of La Tinguiña and San José de Los Molinos, the latter being the starting point where water is diverted into this Inca canal.
