Building the CarMiZa Reveal System | CarMiZa Trunk Details – Part 51

After several months spent working on my Mercedes C32 AMG, taking a vacation, and juggling a busy work schedule, I'm finally back working on CarMiZa—and this marks the beginning of one of the most exciting phases of the entire build. Rather than simply turning lights on and off, I'm creating a fully choreographed reveal system that uses a microcontroller to synchronize lighting, motors, and moving panels into a theatrical presentation unlike anything I've seen in a car audio build. This video begins the development of that system. In this episode, I continue refining the trunk while building the foundation for the automated reveal. Every detail is being designed to preserve the clean, museum-quality appearance of the installation while making the presentation itself part of the experience. My goal is to respectfully restore and elevate the original vision using only fabrication methods and materials that could have existed during that era—while adding my own engineering touches to create something truly unique. The completed reveal system will coordinate lighting, panel movement, and other hidden features through a custom microcontroller, creating a dramatic presentation before the audio system is even turned on.
