How to Detect the Chip Name inside a Laptop Battery ?
In this video I am going to show you how to find the chip inside a laptop battery using NLBA1 device. We have 2 different methods to identify the chip: database and SMBus commands. Using SMBus commands, our complex online algorithm can detect any BQ chip with TI legacy firmware and most of Renesas chips no matter it is 20F020, 51F51, 045A20, 047A20 or 275C10.
