After crossing the border at Ventimiglia, one of the most spectacular and demanding sections for any truck driver in northern Italy begins. Kilometers of tunnels, viaducts, curves, toll roads, and a motorway that winds along the Mediterranean coast as we make our way toward Brescia. In this stage, we travel through the famous French and Italian Riviera, passing through Ventimiglia, Sanremo, Genoa, and much of Italy’s coastal transport corridor. Along the way, we talk about the unique characteristics of this route, traffic conditions, tolls, truck restrictions, and the challenges of a road that many professional drivers know all too well.
