Lowestoft railway station - Suffolk - England. Feat: "The short hauled set"
A long awaited "jolly", to see 2 retro diesel locomotives top and tailing one of several daily passenger services, between Norwich - Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. AKA "The short hauled set" is first seen arriving from Norwich running empty, to form the 0747 back to Norwich. Thanks to the short hauled set - photographs and gen group for the gen (information). As far as I know (and I stand to be corrected), this is one of only two such regular passenger services in the U.K. The other is in the North west of England, between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness.
