Klattenhof Ep.21: Inheriting Eden Farm | FS25 Realism Farm Build

Welcome to my FS25 realism series on Klattenhof. This series follows a small West German family farm set around 1978–1983. After inheriting the farm in September, we are starting with empty fields, 18 dairy cows, a small flock of chickens, older equipment, debt, and just enough money to survive the first winter. This is not a fast money grind or modern mega-farm build. The goal is slow, realistic farming with period-correct equipment, careful crop rotation, manure-based fertility, no herbicide, no stone picking, no roller, and realistic family-farm decisions. Our farm runs Massey Ferguson tractors, a Fiat 480 loader tractor, a Claas Mercator 75 combine, a Unimog U1200, small hay equipment, a New Holland 900 forage harvester, and old-school grain, hay, and livestock systems. We will be playing day by day, building the farm through real seasonal work: feeding and growing the dairy herd making hay and silage planting wheat, barley, oats, grass, and cover crops managing manure, slurry, lime, and soil health saving and bagging our own seed surviving winter slowly expanding only when the farm earns it The goal is to make the farm feel lived-in, believable, and grounded in the time period — muddy yards, old machines, tight money, family labor, and every harvest mattering.
