250th Fourth of July (2026) Albuquerque, N.M. - Southeast Heights - Scott's New Mexico 7/4/26

250 years as a country is short compared to other countries in the world, but it is still worth some celebration. Though we have restrictions on fireworks in 2026 and they are banned in some places, this neighborhood enjoyed what they had to light. It reminded Scott's New Mexico of the 1950's when fireworks were a little louder and a lot brighter. It was touching to see young and old sitting in lawn chairs on their sidewalks lighting fireworks to celebrate a special American moment. Traditions are what give a country its pizzazz.
