50+ Masters Crit Racing at Hillingdon | Full Race POV | Road to Cat 1

Full POV race replay from the final Full Gas Spring Series event at Hillingdon. This was my first time recording a race on the Insta360. Not my finest performance — I finished just outside the points in 13th — but I thought I’d upload it as the first video on the channel. For those who don’t know me, I’m a 50-year-old Cat 2 racer riding for London Dynamo. I’m loving the London masters crit scene and my big goal this season is to achieve Cat 1 status. If all goes well, I’ll upload race footage as the season progresses and document the highs, lows, mistakes, tactics and training along the way. Spoiler alert: I came 13th in this one, so not great. I’d hoped to attack with a few laps to go, but chasing the big move from Nick cost me quite a few watts. I seemed to have a decent position for the sprint with a couple to go, but as always in these races, I got swamped and ended up a little too far back coming into the final lap.
