Garden Design Build, step by step

A full landscape garden build from 2019 designed by https://www.danielshea.co.uk for a great family. Makeover of a patio area, pergola, sun terrace, paths, lawns, raised timber vegetable and flower beds and lots of planting all into a small space. The main issue was the existing garden was on a slope falling back to the house and the existing patio had been laid over a previous patio with no fall, too close to the damp proof course and furthering the damp issues at the back of the house. Lowering the patio, correcting the fall and adding drainage solved the water issue. The soak away positioned 5m from the house - coincidently uncovered a make shift war bunker that we then filled with rubble and gravel to stablelize it and then used one soakaway crate as an inlet for the surface water. Creating spaces by terracing the garden into multiple levels makes it much more usable without raising any ground above 300mm which would require planning consent .
