Tetu Shani - Heartbreak Amnesia

A Self-taught percussionist and guitarist, Tetu Shani was inspired to start writing and performing his own material after meeting Jonathan Butler privately at the 2015 Safaricom Jazz Festival in Nairobi. Since then, he has become an international performing artist playing shows in Ethiopia, Uganda and Zanzibar. He was nominated for East African Male Musician of the year 2016 at the Kenya Buzz Awards, and is a silver award winner at the the 2017 edition of the Global Music Awards for his song "Samalina."
