No sew canopy play tent tutorial

Make a canopy style play tent in under 5 minutes and without any sewing!! It really couldn't be any easier. Great for indoor play or for in the garden, you can even use it as a canopy over a bed. I used a 2 meter long piece of fabric I bought at Cloth&Candy, a double gauze in a lovely mauve colour that is 1.4 meters wide. You can also use a bedsheet, blanket or duvet cover as long as the material is not too heavy and roughly 2 meters by 1.5 meter. (that is 6.5 foot by 5 foot) You also need a 30 cm wide embroidery hoop (12 inches) I was lucky I had one in my craft stash but you can order these online in most craft shops. The last thing you need is a piece of string/yarn I used 1.5 meters but the length depends on where you want to hang your tent.
