TQC 2022 - Biggs/Schmidt-Swartz

Improvised saxophone and electronics duo. The saxophone is combined with electronically generated atmospheres and grooves. An immersive improvisational experience full of style and mood changes, as well as full bore waves of sound mass. Chris Biggs (electronics) is a prolific composer and musician who has worked with the Western Brass Quintet, and the Prism Saxophone Quartet, and is a member of Nodes, an improvised quartet featuring Chris and members of the jazz faculty at Western Michigan University. Ben Schmidt-Swartz (saxophone) is a member of the Chicago Avant Garde scene, and has done extensive solo work touring the Midwest.
