Travelling to TABRIZ and RASHT - Iran Travel Vlog

During our month-long backpacking adventure in Iran, we decided to head north to the towns of Tabriz and Rasht to see what we could find. Travelling in Northern Iran is unlike anywhere else in the country. There's a different vibe up here, and the landscapes are filled with gorgeous mountain ranges, dense forests and ancient castles and churches. While we were in Tabriz and Rasht we headed off to Kandovan, a troglodyte village that reminded us of Cappadocia in Turkey. We also checked out the Rudkhan Castle and the unique village of Masuleh, where the houses are built into the side of a steep mountain and the roofs of the homes are used as footpaths for the level above. We loved our time exploring Tabriz and Rasht, even if the weather didn't always cooperate. We can't wait to return and check out some more amazing things to do in Northern Iran.
