Denizens Society: The Power of the Diaspora and Humanitarianism | Rebecca Doudak

EP01: The Power of the Diaspora with Denizens Society | Rebecca Doudak In this episode, we meet with Rebecca, founder of Denizens Society and content creator. Rebecca tells us about the story of her social and political awakening which started in New York and took her to Cairo, where she currently operates her NGO. She talks us through the process of founding your NGO, volunteering in the Egyptian borders in the early days of the war, to running multiple programmes from dental care, art therapy and rent relief to Gazan refugees in Cairo. Overall, Rebecca is sharing the importance of taking action in the momentum, starting small at each one’s level, and the role of individual action to tackle global issues and injustices. ____________________________________ Credits Denizens Society | https://denizenssociety.org Follow them on Instagram @denizenssociety https://www.instagram.com/denizenssoc...
