Aizawl to Agartala Bike Ride via Jampui Hill & Rajiv Nagar || Jampui Hill || Rajiv Nagar

So instead of Tuidam, we decided to enter Tripura via Rajiv Nagar, Mamit District, MZ route. It also passes through Jampui Hill of Tripura. Before starting our journey, we checked the distance between Aizawl & Rajiv Nagar and it showed approx. 65 km & 3hours + of time. After crossing the Dapchhuah Bridge, we took left turn as instructed by the Google Map just only to be told after riding couple of KMs that we had "reached our destination" in the middle of the jungle with no houses around. Now, we trusted our instinct and went ahead towards West Phaileng, not knowing how far Rajiv Nagar was at that point since Google Map was giving false information. After the sunset, we rode through Dampa Tiger 🐅 reserve which we didn't know would fall on our way. Huge gamble! Condition of the roads were pretty bad. In some patches, huge pieces of bricks were laid & not rolled properly. Since no local bus or taxi services were available, we barely came across any vehicle. Which was concerning coz in case of puncture, we were gonna be screwed with no help. Not network in some part either. After reaching Rajiv Nagar, the place where we decided beforehand to stay, locals told us that the tiger reserve area is haunted & many people had experienced paranormal activity. Thankfully we didn't or maybe I didn't notice anything. Rajiv Nagar is only 24 km away from Jampui Hill (Phuldongsei). Avoid taking this route during Monsoon.
