As the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics get underway, we set out to answer one question: is figure skating a gay sport? To explore it, our drag reporter Tabi Stone headed to Grenoble to meet Kevin Aymoz, seven-time French figure skating champion, as he prepared for the Games. It was a chance to look back with him on his journey — from his childhood on the ice in Grenoble to his sporting coming out in 2021 — and on his hopes for his second Winter Olympics, after a strong 10th-place finish at the Beijing 2022 Games.
