Music of Austin, Texas - Albanie Falletta and Ryan Gould "Margie"

Albanie Falletta lived and worked in Austin, Texas as a jazz musician for a number of years. Her guitar playing and singing are sublime expressions of her deep love for music. Her great wealth of spirit and personality beams through her every note. While she lived in Austin, Texas, I had the pleasure of working with Albanie in Thrift Set Orchestra and her own band, Albanie Falletta and Her Fellas. Of course, we’ve shared the stage with a great many other bands. Making music with her comes so very naturally; it’s always a refreshing and invigorating experience no matter what band, genre, style, or occasion. Albanie is now based in New Orleans, leading her own band(s) and lending her great talents to others but she does appear in Austin, Texas from time to time.
