11 a.m. Traditional | The-YALL-ogy | Week 4

ABOUT THE SERIES: Summer has a different rhythm. People travel. Families breathe a little deeper. Schedules loosen. And for years, we’ve tried to lean into that season with sermon series that are a little more playful, a little more accessible, and a little more disarming - not because the truths are less important, but because sometimes humor and storytelling open doors that seriousness alone cannot. This June, we’re heading to the Fort Worth Stockyards for a series we’re calling The-y’all-ogy - a look at faith through the lens of old Texas sayings and country wisdom. Because as it turns out, a lot of those old expressions carry more theological truth than we might expect. Beneath the humor and homespun language are questions about influence, patience, authenticity, surrender, and the kind of people we are becoming. And maybe that’s fitting for faith itself. After all, Jesus often taught profound truths through ordinary images: seeds, fields, fishing nets, vineyards, shepherds, and family tables. In the same spirit, we’ll use familiar sayings to uncover deeper spiritual realities - discovering that sometimes theology sounds a little less like a seminary classroom…and a little more like front-porch wisdom. _______________________________________________________ CONNECT WITH US: As much as we try to avoid the label (and all the baggage that comes with it), White’s Chapel is admittedly a big church. And we know that, with hundreds of opportunities to grow and serve, it’s easy to get overwhelmed; but we’re here to help every step of the way to make WC the “biggest small church” around: to make WC not just a church, but your church. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, White's Chapel has a place for you to worship, study, grow, heal, and serve. ►Connect through our Website https://whiteschapel.org ►Subscribe to our YouTube Channel    / @whiteschapelmc   ►Follow us on Instagram   / whiteschapelmc   ►Like us on Facebook   / whiteschapelmc
