ActiveCommand Steering™ 2 Settings and Adjustments | John Deere 7R and 8R Series Tractors

Learn how to adjust settings of the ActiveCommand Steering™ 2 steering system found on Model Year 2021 and newer 7R and 8R Tractors equipped with this option. ACS Variable Ratio Steering when enabled will allow system to automatically change the steering ratio as machine enters or exits transport speed (12 mph / 19 kph). Steering Wheel Resistance setting changes the feedback through the steering wheel. The higher the setting the, the more effort that is required to turn the steering wheel. ACS Sensitivity setting adjusts how responsive the steering system is at transport speeds. Low setting ignores small steering wheel movements. High setting responds to these small steering wheel movements but steering wheel resistance is increased as well.
