Safe to Learn: Safe journeys to school are a child's right
‘Safe to Learn’ is a short film calling for focused action to provides safe routes to school for every child by 2030. Building on a joint report by UNICEF and the FIA Foundation, the film hears from parents, policy leaders and campaigners urging action to prevent avoidable road traffic crashes which claim 500 young lives every day, and examines some of the solutions that can make a difference. Our aim is to ensure ‘Safe, Clean, Fair and Green’ mobility for all, playing our part to ensure a sustainable future. The FIA Foundation has an international reputation for innovative global road safety philanthropy; practical environmental research and interventions to improve air quality and tackle climate change; and high impact strategic advocacy in the areas of road traffic injury prevention and motor vehicle fuel efficiency.
