When Volkswagen Built a Postal Van from the Parts Bin

The VW 'Fridolin' looks like a few Volkswagens welded together, and in a way, it is. Built after the German Postal Service commissioned Volkswagen, it combined Type 3, Kombi, Karmann Ghia and Beetle parts. With only about 150 left around the world, and possibly just two in Australia, Matthew Koomen’s 1969 Fridolin, or Kleinlieferwagen, was already rare before the rebuild began.
