Ane Arce e Iñigo Berasategui: Coleccionismo ambiguo: lo ordinario en Denise y el ahora

Postmodern architecture has established itself as a recognizable language, but also as a controversial episode, whose formal dimension often overshadows its supposed critical foundations. Within this framework, the figure of Denise Scott Brown occupies an elusive and singular position. Her work largely remains outside this trend, articulating a keen eye for the ordinary, capable of linking high culture and popular culture without hierarchies or prejudices, and deeply connected to pop art and contemporary communication systems. The lecture, presented by the BeAR architects team, proposes reinterpreting this legacy not as a historical episode, but as an operational attitude that has indirectly permeated numerous contemporary practices. Under the concept of ambiguous collecting, current design approaches that work with accumulation, ambiguity, and the existing will be analyzed, reclaiming the ordinary as one of the most fertile avenues of escape for the architecture of our time. ----- Postmodernism arkitektonikoa hizkuntza bereizi gisa finkatu da, baina, halaber, gertaera polemikoa ere bada, haren ustezko oinarri kritikoei nagusitzen baitzaie haren alderdi formala.
