Alejandro Aranda tells "Vista LA" that "American Idol" helped "get out of my shell" | ABC7

"American Idol" finalist and Pomona native told "Vista LA" that "Idol" helped him get out of his shell. He also told "Vista" that as a Latino, he feels music "thrives in all of our blood," and he's very proud of who he is. Alejandro said "Idol" was all aimed at "getting more of you out there," and he described himself as "very to myself," so he said it was hard for him to really grasp that. The show "pushed me out of my shell," he said, adding that he met so many great people on the show. "I think as a whole, it was a really great experience, and it felt like i needed to go through it," he said.
